Over the years, we’ve helped companies and organisations move along their digital transformation journeys and also conducted various capacity building programs aimed for innovative leadership to meet the needs of different actors in the tax policy and administration realm.

As we scale our efforts in 2023 and beyond, we’re looking for a Business Developer who’s passionate about joining our quest to help develop new business opportunities for our flagship MN Innova Hub.

The job in a nutshell

We are looking for a Business Developer to join our tech hub. The purpose of this role is to identify and develop new business opportunities for the hub, through relationship building, market research, and sales activities.

 

You’ll spend time on the following

  • Identifying opportunities and implementing growth plans
  • Defining critical drivers, workflow, sales funnels and dynamics to penetrate this market
  • Identifing and research potential clients and partners for the tech hub
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing, potential clients and partners
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue for the tech hub
  • Collaborating with other teams within the tech hub to ensure business development strategies align with overall organizational goals.
  • Identifying key trends and insights in the industry, and using them to inform the development of new products and services
  • Attending and participating in industry events and networking opportunities

Here’s what we’re looking for

  • Strong business development and sales experience
  • Experience in the tech industry
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills. You can validate your decisions and communicate them clearly
  • You are comfortable with the ambiguity, pace and continuous iteration of an early-stage startup
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong market research and data analysis skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
