As we scale our efforts in 2023 and beyond, we’re looking for a Product Designer – Intern who’s passionate about joining our quest to help develop new business opportunities for our flagship MN Innova Hub.

The job in a nutshell
We are looking for a product design intern to join our Tech hub. This internship provides hands-on experience in product design, where you’ll collaborate on real projects, learn from experienced designers, and develop valuable skills for your career.
You’ll spend time on the following
Supporting user research efforts to understand needs and preferences.
Contributing to the creation of sketches, wireframes, and prototypes.
Working closely with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
Absorbing design principles and best practices through hands-on experience and mentorship.
Assisting in the creation of design documentation and specifications.
Engaging in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and team activities.
Embracing feedback and seeking opportunities for growth and improvement.
Here’s what we’re looking for
Passion for Design Thinking: Demonstrated interest and understanding of design thinking principles and methodologies.
Enrolled in Design Program: Have a degree in Product Design or related certification.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and collaborate in a team.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics, with the ability to apply design thinking principles to problem-solving.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, while adhering to project timelines and deadlines.
Bonus points if …
- If you have a Google UX Design Professional Certificate If you have experience with
- User Research: Previous experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- If you have a strong portfolio showcasing design projects and demonstrating the application of design thinking principles.
