General Tech Support - Paid NYSC Service or Internship

We’re a fast-growing Innovation and solutions-driven firm that help solve problems for the public and private sector through evidence and innovation.

Over the years, we’ve helped various companies and organisations move along their digital transformation journeys and also conducted various capacity building programs aimed for innovative leadership to meet the needs of different actors in the tax policy and administration realm.

As we scale our efforts in 2023 and beyond, we’re looking for a Technical Support Specialist who’s passionate about joining our quest to help provide technical assistance and support.

 

Conditions

  • MN Innova youth corps service programme provides monthly stipend for the period of service; you will also gain valuable experience and access to a network;
  • All the expenses connected with the work will be borne by the company.
  • Youth corps are not staff members and may not represent MN Innova in any official capacity;
  • You are expected to work full time.

The job in a nutshell

We are looking for a technical support specialist to join our business and product teams. Your responsibility is primarily to help the organisation with skills and talents, work closely with the IT department and other teams to ensure that all challenges are addressed and resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

You’ll spend time on the following

  • Carrying out ad hoc tasks within the organisation as per your expertise in a timely manner and when requested.
  • Working closely with the IT department and other teams.

Here’s what we’re looking for

  • You are an NYSC corper.
  • Great book keeping skill
  • Proven experience in any of the following areas: 
    • Front desk or office administration
    • Graphic design
    • Web design
    • Web development
    • Other similar role.
  • You are comfortable with the ambiguity, pace and continuous iteration of an early-stage startup
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to work under pressure
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong ability to explain technical information to non-technical users
